She particularly works well with university students (Binghamton University, Broome County Community College, Davis College, and others in the area), individuals that feel like an imposter, or those that feel isolated by feelings of shame. Amanda’s therapeutic approach is highly empathetic, trauma-informed, strength-based, and often utilizes humor. Amanda offers individual therapy and group therapy theoretically grounded in REBT, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness. Her practice aims to empower clients to clarify goals and collaboratively expand their capacity to achieve them.
