Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
At The Hope Center, we are dedicated to ensuring our clients are fully informed about the costs associated with their care. In compliance with the No Surprises Act, we provide a Good Faith Estimate to all clients upon request. This estimate helps you understand the expected costs of our counseling and therapy services before your appointment.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the anticipated costs for medical services provided by The Hope Center. It is designed to give you an overview of the charges you can expect for your counseling sessions, including any additional services that may be necessary for your treatment. This estimate aims to prevent unexpected expenses and help you make informed decisions about your care.
Requesting a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before receiving services from The Hope Center. To request an estimate, please contact us directly at (607) 203-1593 or by emailing contact@thehopecenterny.com.
After your request, we typically provide you with the Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days.
The estimate will include a detailed breakdown of expected charges for the services you are considering or have scheduled. This may include session fees, assessment costs, and any other potential charges related to your care.
What to Do with Your Good Faith Estimate
Once you receive your Good Faith Estimate, please review it carefully. It will help you understand the costs associated with your care and plan accordingly.
If you have any questions about the estimates provided, or if you would like more information about our services and their costs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
If Actual Charges Exceed the Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act provides protections if your actual charges are significantly higher than your Good Faith Estimate.
If the actual billed charges exceed the estimated amount by $400 or more, you may be eligible to dispute the bill.
The Hope Center will provide instructions on how to initiate a dispute process if necessary. We are here to support you through this process to ensure transparency and fairness.
