Angeliki (Angie) Trifonopoulos is a dedicated Mental Health Counselor-LP (MHC-LP) at The Hope Center in the Binghamton, NY area and is currently welcoming new clients.
Angie works with individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, mood changes, relationship stress, or life transitions. Many of her clients appear to be functioning well externally, yet experience internal feelings of being stuck, exhausted, or disconnected.
Her approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each individual. Angie integrates person-centered care with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and expressive arts, to reduce distress while building resilience, confidence, and effective coping strategies. She also supports clients in developing healthier thought patterns and creating meaningful lives aligned with their personal values and cultural background.
Angie has experience working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, body image concerns, relationship challenges, spiritual concerns, medical trauma, and life transitions.
She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton.
